BIT Inspections + State and Federal Regulations (bring you’re a copy or your companies BIT Inspection form)
Troubleshooting air brakes, antilock brakes, and traction control systems
Discussion of component and system operations
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting using Bendix Training Board.
Hands-On
Day One: Description and operation of Supply, Distribution and Service Brake Systems, including S-Cam, Disc, some wedge and air over hydraulic brake information. BIT Inspection compliance and regulations.
Day Two: Parking and Tractor / Trailer Systems.
Spring Brake Relay Control Valves
Antilock Brakes / Traction control.
